The Superego Synth Engine creates infinite sustain by sampling the played sound.

If you freeze chords or other sounds, you can layer solos or other parts on top.

By smoothly gliding the frozen sound into the next, you can achieve effects similar to a synthesizer portamento.

You can also press the footswitch repeatedly to layer sounds one after another, with settings available for how much of the previous sound to retain.

Additionally, there is an auto mode where the pedal automatically freezes single notes or chords without operation of the footswitch.

The pedal features an effects loop, allowing you to add additional effects to the Superego's effect sound.
