What is Nitriding Treatment? Nitriding treatment is a technique that hardens the surface of iron by thermally diffusing nitrogen into it.

Effects of Nitriding Treatment 1. By hardening the surface of the iron, the strength increases even with a thin plate thickness. 2. The nitrided surface has delicate irregularities, which improves oil absorption during cooking. 3. The nitrided layer prevents rust, a common phenomenon in iron pots, making them rust-resistant. 4. Compared to Teflon and other coatings, it does not peel off because the heat is diffused within the iron.
