A slightly timid Luigi takes on ghost-hunting in a strange hotel...
The latest installment in the "Luigi's Mansion" series is coming to Nintendo Switch.
The setting for this adventure is a gigantic haunted hotel. Luigi and his friends are invited to this luxurious hotel, but it turns out to be a trap set by the owner, a huge fan of King Boo! While Luigi is napping at the hotel, Mario, Peach, and Toad are kidnapped and trapped inside paintings. To rescue his friends, the slightly timid Luigi, armed with the new Poltergust invented by Professor E. Gadd, embarks on a new adventure through the haunted hotel with its bizarre floors.
Luigi's new partner is Gooigi. In this game, Gooigi, who looks just like Luigi but is made of a green, gel-like substance called "Goo," becomes Luigi's new partner. Together, they tackle puzzles and obstacles, slipping over iron bars and dangerous traps that Luigi alone cannot pass through. The game also supports co-op play, allowing two players to switch to simultaneous play during the story. Player 1 controls Luigi and Player 2 controls Gooigi, allowing two people to enjoy the story together.
Get ready for a fun cooperative game with up to 8 players in "Terror Tower." The cooperative multiplayer mode, which supports both local and online play, includes "Terror Tower," a game that can be enjoyed by up to 8 players (*). Players will face various challenges, such as defeating all the ghosts within the time limit or finding the lost Toad, as they aim for the top floor of the tower. *Up to 2 players can play on one Nintendo Switch console, and up to 8 players can enjoy the game with up to 4 consoles. *A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required for online play (paid service).
