"Skul: The Hero Slayer" is a 2D roguelike action platformer. Skul, a tiny skeleton guarding the Demon King's castle, single-handedly takes on heroes, adventurers, and the Imperial Army to rescue the Demon King who has been captured by humans. Transform by swapping out different heads and utilize each character's unique action skills as you embark on an adventure! "Skull" is a slightly special skeleton. By swapping out its head (skull) with other heads you find along the way, you can gain new powers. There are about 100 different skulls, each with its own unique combos and skills, and all have different characteristics, so you can find a skull that suits your style and have fun. Along the way, you'll find various "equipment" items, so equip items that suit your style to strengthen your "Skull"! Also, "Essence" is a treasure that has been passed down through various demon races. The Essence contains the concentrated power of that race, and you can use it to summon their ancestors or activate their unique magic. The soldiers of the Karlian Empire have ceased to think for themselves and have begun eliminating non-human races based solely on power and faith. They consider "Skull" to be an extremely dangerous being. Be careful if you encounter a party of adventurers. They are ambitious young men who want to hunt you, a demon, to gain fame. The adventurers will attack "Skull" with powerful and diverse attack patterns. Will "Skull" be able to defeat the adventurers and save the Demon King?
