Type E Carbon Filter Carbon filter designed for Berdsen hoods. A carbon insert is required for the hood to operate as an absorber; in this case, the hood does not need to be connected to a chimney. It is recommended to replace carbon filters, depending on the intensity of hood use, at most every 6 months. Each of our hoods can operate as an extractor or absorber (using replaceable carbon filters, sold separately) and comes with a 24-month warranty. All hoods are factory-protected with a thick layer of polystyrene and durable cardboard, and the stainless steel surfaces are covered with a protective foil to reduce the risk of damage during transport.
