II. Model adjustment
When there is no wind or a gentle breeze, gently throw the model from the center of gravity position of the handheld machine head. Adjust the distance between the wing platform and the front and rear according to the flight attitude of the model. Wave like flight indicates a light head, and the wing platform needs to be moved backwards; Downward dive indicates head weight, and the wing platform needs to be moved forward.
III Power flight
First, turn the propeller clockwise for about 15 turns, then hold the machine with your right hand and hold the propeller with your left hand, gently pushing it out in the wind. Observing the flight trajectory, a hovering upward posture is optimal. If the hovering radius of the model is found to be too small, make a small incision at the base of the vertical tail and bend it in the opposite direction. After the flight attitude is normal, fly with high power by circling around the rubber band 200-220 times. Rubber bands should generally be straightened and slightly relaxed. I personally think it's okay whether or not you apply oil. If you apply oil, the rotation will be slightly smooth, but the lifespan of the rubber band will be shortened.
The key issue is to adjust the center of gravity of the aircraft. The method is to throw it directly from the hand in a windless environment without tightening the rubber band. The airplane should neither have a clear head up nor a clear head down. If you look up, add weight to the nose of the aircraft. Additionally, it is important to note that the aircraft should not have any tilting, and if this occurs, adjust the wings left and right for correction. During the competition, it is generally advisable to throw the plane against the wind without using too much force. Especially when the wind is strong, the force given by the hand is too great, and the plane will do a somersault backwards, which will shorten the time of being empty.
