[Story] A Nightmare on Elm Street (1986 release) With the song "One, two, Freddy's coming," Freddy Krueger, the demonic killer with sharp iron claws, arrives. Directed by Wes Craven ("Scream" series), this is the first installment of the hugely successful thrash movie series. Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund), who haunts people's dreams, plunges the teenagers of Elm Street into the depths of terror. Despite its simple storyline, it is a highly imaginative, gruesome, and shocking horror masterpiece. This film also marks the film debut of Johnny Depp, who plays Nancy's (Heather Langenkamp) boyfriend. Thanks to Nancy's quick thinking, it seemed this nightmarish killer had been defeated, but Freddy rose again three, then four times after this film... And in the 2010 remake, a brilliant remake of the original, he makes another spectacular return to the screen.
