Product Introduction

Devised by Waseda University Shogi Club! An introductory shogi game with an insect motif!

Designed by Waseda University Shogi Club, this shogi game features simple rules that make it easy to play. It also incorporates unique rules inspired by insects, allowing for fast-paced matches. ★ The board is a simple 4×5 grid! ★ Like traditional shogi, victory can be achieved by capturing the opponent's 'King', or by the 'Try Rule', where you win if your 'King' reaches the opponent's territory (sap zone). ★ Each insect (piece) has different abilities! Some insects can evolve or transform when certain conditions are met. (Grasshopper evolves by eating grass on the board, Praying Mantis evolves by capturing an opponent, Water Scorpion transforms after capturing an opponent) ★ The back side features a simpler game on a 3×4 grid.
