Product Introduction

■EMAD Clear

EMAD is EVANS's proprietary sound control system, which includes two types of urethane mute rings (damping rings) with different widths that can be easily attached and removed without removing the bass drum head. This allows for easy adjustment of the mute level according to preference.

Made with a 10mil, single-ply film, it offers a range of sounds from open and resonant to tight attack and fat sound with prominent low end. The use of two detachable damping rings enables various sound textures with a single bass drum head.

Coated heads increase warmth and depth of tone.

GMAD, made with a 12mil, single-ply film, adds punch and low end to the original EMAD, resulting in a more powerful sound.

Durability is also increased by 20%. EMAD2 further enhances attack and durability by using a 7mil outer layer and a 10mil inner layer, totaling a 2-ply film.
