Newly, distance measurement is automatically corrected through linkage with a smartphone and accelerometer. A new model has joined the G-SHOCK sports line, “G-SQUAD [Jiisukwaddo].” It now features Bluetooth connectivity with smartphones. By linking with the smartphone’s GPS function, distance measurement by the accelerometer is corrected. Once corrected, the watch can measure running distance more accurately on its own next time. By linking this distance measurement with running time measurement, it supports pace measurement, and also includes an auto-lap function that automatically measures time every set distance. In addition to the conventional step tracker (step counting function) and interval timer (maximum 5 sets x 20 reps), lap time measurement (maximum 140 laps x 100 runs), and calorie calculation, it supports your daily training.
