Despite the reduced intake resistance, dust collection performance is equivalent to or better than our conventional models (capturing over 95% of standard dust in our tests). It reliably captures dust, supplying clean air to the engine.

Conventional pleated sports filters capture everything from large debris to fine particles on the surface. This narrows the air passage, resulting in a shorter time before clogging occurs, even if the initial airflow resistance is low. However, the HKS Super Air Filter uses a density gradient nonwoven fabric, gradually making the filter mesh finer to capture larger debris first.
