TRADITIONAL JAPANESE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Tokoname ware, with over 1,000 years of pottery-making heritage, is recognized as one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns. This exquisite teapot combines traditional ceramic artistry with modern functionality, crafted in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
ASH GLAZE EXCELLENCE
This teapot features authentic ash glaze, the most traditional glaze dating back to Japan's Muromachi period. Made from natural wood ash, the glaze develops a distinctive greenish sheen when fired at high temperatures, creating a glossy, rustic appearance prized by tea enthusiasts worldwide. The natural patina deepens with each use, adding character and beauty over time.
CERAMESH INNOVATION
The proprietary CeraMesh ceramic tea strainer was developed in Tokoname to preserve the pure, natural flavor of tea without metallic tastes. Unlike stainless steel strainers, this fine ceramic mesh allows tea to breathe while preventing leaf clogging, honoring traditional ceramic teaware philosophy.
SUPERIOR BREWING RESULTS
Tokoname's high iron-content clay produces exceptionally mellow, non-bitter tea. The teapot's construction—hand-filed lids fitted precisely to eliminate wobbling—ensures optimal brewing conditions and heat retention.
