Product introduction
AKG C414XL II Side Address Condenser Microphone
It follows the characteristics of the “C12,” which was the predecessor of the C414. A brilliant sound that enhances the appeal of the original sound is output due to high-rise characteristics raised at 4 kHz or more. Perfect for parts of an ensemble where you want to stand out from the rest of the sound sources.
The sound quality is unconventional, and can be used for various sound sources such as vocals, guitars, wind instruments, and pianos.
The dual diaphragm configuration in which the two diaphragms are arranged in close proximity and in parallel minimizes the effects of proximity effects. Clear sound collection is possible across the entire band.
Effects of external noise, temperature, humidity, etc. are reduced by adopting transformerless circuits, high-quality mounting parts, and an all-metal chassis. An extremely low equivalent noise level of 6 dB is achieved, and even fine sound signals are collected.
The maximum sound pressure level reaches 140 dB, making it compatible with sound sources with high sound pressure. It is also equipped with a pad that can be switched between 4 levels.
Directivity can be selected from 9 levels, and optimal settings are possible according to the usage environment.
An elastic suspension that supports the diaphragm at 4 points using rubber is adopted, and countermeasures against vibration noise are also perfect. If the attached holder with suspension is used together, sound collection with clearer sound quality can be achieved.
Equipped with a 4-stage switchable low-cut filter with a lock function. It also has an LED that lights up just before the output is overloaded, making it useful even in live scenes.
A windscreen and pop screen are included as standard to suppress the effects of pop noise.
