Product Metrics Raw Material for Industry : Cold-pressed Perilla Oil (Perilla Oil CP) UNREFINED Oil INCL : PERILLA OCYMOIDES SEED OIL CAS Number 90082-61-4 EINECS Number 290-151-0 The oil is obtained from the fruits of Perilla Frutescens, an annual oilseed plant. Its natural habitat is found throughout South Asia, and it is now cultivated worldwide (in subtropical climates). Oil constitutes up to 50% of the fruit's content (in the green-leafed variety). We offer unrefined, cold-pressed oil. Action. One of the most underrated, or perhaps better yet, unknown (at least in our country) vegetable oils. It has a very high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids (including alpha-linolenic acid and Omega 3), and also contains significant amounts of flavonoids, rosmarinic acid, and other phenolic compounds. All these compounds have a beneficial effect on the skin, have strong antioxidant and antiseptic properties, strengthen the walls of blood vessels, inhibit the growth of bacteria responsible for acne. The compounds contained in the oil act as a natural catalyst, stimulating the production of many enzymes in the skin, which translates into its elasticity and firmness. Perilla oil combats fat metabolism disorders related to a lack of unsaturated fatty acids, inhibits degenerative changes and keratinization of the sebaceous glands. Finally, it's impossible not to mention its typically medical properties: perilla oil soothes atopic eczema and accelerates wound healing. All these properties of the oil predispose it to cosmetic applications for many skin types, from dry and atopic skin, through mature skin, to skin affected by acne. And if that weren't enough... the oil has a wonderful effect on hair (split ends) and nails, as well as on the scalp (psoriatic lesions). Use. Recommended concentration in cosmetic formulas 5-99%. For use in cosmetic formulas for the skin, scalp, hair, and nails. Storage. The oil is not affected by room temperature, it is important to avoid direct exposure to UV rays. Information on origin.
