Shapton Glass HR 3000 Ceramic Sharpening Stone

The excellent #3000 Shapton Glass HR waterstone is perfect for finishing and polishing the cutting edge. Using this stone after regular sharpening yields excellent results, resulting in an incredibly sharp knife. The specified abrasive particle size is 4.9 microns. The Shapton Glass HR waterstone series includes some of the best sharpening stones, which are also among the hardest. Compared to other stones, they don't wear out as quickly and don't require frequent sharpening. These are undoubtedly the most advanced sharpening stones offered by Shapton. They can be used with very hard steels, such as R2 or ZDP-189. A key advantage of Shapton Glass HR sharpening stones, known as "Splash and Go," is that they don't absorb water.
