This [Nambu Tekki] iron kettle is designed by furniture designer Makoto Koizumi. It features a sophisticated and striking design unlike any [Nambu Tekki] iron kettle before it, yet blends seamlessly with surrounding interiors. The interior of the kettle is treated with an oxide film to resist rusting. It is also practical, allowing for iron supplementation through the natural leaching of iron from the ironware. It also possesses the excellent pouring characteristics typical of [Nambu Tekki] iron kettles.

・Size: Diameter 16.5cm, Height 15cm. Material: Cast iron, teak. Capacity: Approximately 1L (when full). Weight: Approximately 2.0kg. ・Please rinse 2-3 times before use and boil one pot of water, discarding it before using. Do not use the iron kettle for anything other than boiling water; do not boil tea leaves or herbal remedies in it (this may cause the water to become cloudy). Be careful, as it becomes very hot during and after heating. ・Compatible heat sources: Gas stoves, electromagnetic cooktops, radiant heaters, halogen heaters (do not use in microwave ovens). After use, promptly discard any remaining water and ensure no moisture remains, as this can cause rust. Depending on the situation, after use, remove the lid and allow it to dry-heat for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute to remove any remaining moisture. Store in a dry place, wrapped in newspaper or similar. If rust occurs, boiling water from a rusted iron kettle will not harm your health, so you can continue to use it as is. If you are concerned about the rust, wrap tea leaves in a tea bag and boil them together 2-3 times. Then, boil only water 2-3 times, and when the water becomes clear, it is complete.
