Significantly upgraded audio components from the previous model 'CHARGE 4', adopting a genuine 2-way speaker setup. The large-diameter woofer with improved sensitivity, developed in-house, amplifies loudness and reproduces more dynamic bass.
Additionally, the newly added 20mm diameter tweeter achieves the high clarity and high-frequency response JBL is proud of. Furthermore, the dual passive radiators with increased edge and weight enable richer bass with more volume and depth. With a professional-grade speaker configuration similar to the 'XTREME 3' announced in March, the 'CHARGE' series offers a large-scale, thick JBL Pro Sound.
■ Redesigned with a refined, high-quality appearance
The brand logo on the front features the new 'JBL Bold Design' identity for JBL portable Bluetooth speakers.
Following the 'XTREME 3', which first adopted this design, the logo's edges are accented with orange, JBL’s brand color, using metal material to emphasize the brand while adding a sophisticated, high-quality feel.
The body and logo are now in a 'Tone on Tone' color scheme for a more harmonious, stylish, and user-friendly design.
The battery indicator on the front has been improved for quick visibility of remaining battery life, preventing surprises from unexpected power loss and enhancing user convenience.

Equipped with a large-capacity 7,500mAh/27Wh battery, inherited from the previous model, enabling up to about 20 hours of wireless continuous playback in a compact body. The rear of the device features a dedicated USB port for power supply, allowing multiple charges for smartphones and tablets.
For example, it can charge an iPhone 12 about 1.7 times or a Samsung Galaxy S20 approximately 1.2 times (based on our testing).
This model also features a waterproof USB Type-C charging port, eliminating the need for a cover and allowing direct connection, making it safe to use near water. It functions not only as a high-performance portable speaker but also as a mobile battery with 2-Way capability.

In addition to waterproofing, it now also supports dustproofing with IP67 rating. The waterproof and dustproof USB Type-C port on the back allows for easy cleaning.

Simply press the 'PartyBoost' button on the speaker to connect over 100 compatible speakers for synchronized music playback without app operation. Supports social mode, allowing two devices to be connected via Bluetooth simultaneously, with easy switching between devices by pressing the last used device’s play button. Ideal for outdoor parties, home gatherings, or large venues where high-quality sound is desired.
