Installation Tips:
Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is smooth, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose paint. Newly painted surfaces should cure for at least 4 weeks.
Measure & Cut: Measure the area and cut the film to size, leaving a small margin for trimming. The backing paper often features a grid for easy cutting.
Peel & Stick: Peel the backing paper gradually and apply the film to the surface, pressing firmly from the center outward.
Smooth Air Bubbles: Use a squeegee or credit card to smooth out air bubbles from the center to the edges.
Trim Excess: Trim any excess with a utility knife for a clean, professional finish.
Heat for Curves: For curved edges, use a hairdryer to gently heat the film, making it more flexible for molding.
💡 Pro Tip: The film can be repositioned during application, so don't worry if you need to adjust it – just peel back and reapply until you're satisfied.
