The car body is newly reproduced with slightly larger vertical dimensions than the 2000 series and features unit sash windows with rounded corners on the inside of the frame. It is also reproduced as the later model from car number 554 onwards, with the vertical rain gutters housed inside the car body. Reproduced in the original vermilion No. 5 single-color Tokyo metropolitan area livery. The H-rubber seals on each window are reproduced in gray, and the JR mark is included as a transfer sheet for optional application. Powered by a motor with flywheel.
