Bloom Kingdom is a card game where players play cards from their hand to create a shared tableau, aiming to score the most points from the remaining cards in their hand.
On each turn, players select one card from their hand and reveal it simultaneously. The revealed cards are grouped by identical cards to form a shared tableau. When a player has only two cards remaining, the round ends, and players score points based on the cards they have left.
Bloom Kingdom features 10 different characters, each with unique scoring conditions for the cards left in their hand. For example, the King scores based on the number of King cards on the table, but if someone has a Jester in their hand, the King cannot score, and the Jester's scoring condition applies instead. Some characters also have effects that activate when played, allowing players to swap cards or remove cards from the tableau.
Players must guess which characters other players are aiming to score with based on the cards played, and adjust their own strategy by managing the tableau and their remaining hand to maximize their points.
After scoring in the third round, the player with the highest total score wins.
Despite its simple rules, the game offers strategic depth through effect timing and reading opponents, complemented by beautiful artwork.
