Combining the forefoot魔术 strap from the PG 1 with the upper silhouette of the PG 2, Nike unveiled Paul George’s latest signature basketball shoe—the Paul George PG 2.5—in June 2018. Its design is notably more streamlined compared to its predecessor. Unlike the PG 1’s Flywire technology, the PG 2.5 features two reinforced, thick woven straps: starting the lateral side, running over the midfoot, turning inward the medial side, and then looping back outward to adhere—creating a wraparound structure that significantly enhances foot containment. A Zoom Air cushioning unit in the midsole delivers stable shock absorption and responsive energy return. While the shoe’s aesthetics have been completely refreshed, its performance remains exceptionally strong.
