Air Jordan 5 Retro Low 'Chinese New Year' 2021 (Unisex) Sail / Chile Red / Opti Yellow / Pearl White Vintage Basketball Shoes DD2240 100

For vintage sneaker collectors and new fans alike, the Air Jordan V stands as a timeless classic that has withstood the test of time. In celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year, Jordan Brand reimagines the Air Jordan V Low to create the festive Air Jordan V CNY. Drawing inspiration from traditional firecracker packaging paper prints, the designers subtly embed these patterns beneath a translucent textile upper—revealing bold motifs when the fabric is gently parted, adding to the lively, celebratory atmosphere. The light-yellow outsole features glow-in-the-dark functionality, lending the shoe a distinctive retro aesthetic while infusing it with a futuristic edge. Additionally, the iconic heel logo is replaced with the Chinese characters '廿三' (meaning 'Twenty-Three'), evoking the spirit of the New Year while maintaining strong design sensibility.
