KENKO Lens Filter Deut 77mm for Soft Focusing 377314

Among the many soft filters available, "DUTO" has a particularly subtle softening effect. It beautifully renders the diffused light of highlights while keeping the focus sharp. Unlike typical soft filters that affect the entire image, this filter primarily creates a subtle blur in the highlight areas. This alters the texture of skin and hair where light hits them, creating an effect as if they are veiled in a thin layer or glowing softly from within. Due to its characteristics, we recommend using a medium telephoto lens with a focal length (full-frame equivalent) of approximately 85-135mm, and with the aperture wide open to a medium aperture. Please note that using this effect with wide-angle lenses or stopping down the aperture too much may cause unevenness or directionality in the soft-focus effect. Filter diameter: 77mm
