Dried Physalis Peruvian Cherry 500g Targroch
Dried Physalis Peruvian Cherry 500g Targroch
- contains vitamins A, C, and B
- strengthens joints and bones
Physalis is a relatively new fruit to Europeans. It arrived from Colombia at the end of the 18th century, but even today it is difficult to find in its fresh, raw form. Thanks to its delicate, paper-like casing, it is most often used as a decoration for cakes and banquet dishes.
It is also called Brazilian raisin, Venezuelan topo-tono, Inca berry, or Peruvian physalis, cherry, and blueberry.
Physalis contains vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system, supports the circulatory system, and strengthens joints and bones. Peruvian physalis fruits are also a source of B vitamins.
Physalis can be used as a base for preserves – jams, preserves, jellies, etc., and even liqueurs. It can also be added to salads, cakes, and used as a decoration for traditional baked goods. Dried fruit can also be added to yogurt or muesli.
