Monster Hunter Stories 3 - PS5 Game

Dive into a majestic odyssey with Monster Hunter Stories 3 : Twisted Reflection, a brand new turn-based RPG developed by Capcom. Two centuries after an ancient conflict, the kingdoms of Azuria and Vermeil are once again on the verge of collapse : two twin Rathalos hatch from a mysterious egg, a symbol of a dire omen. As the heir of Azuria and the only Rathalos Rider still recognized, you embody a hero carrying a heavy burden : protect these legendary creatures while defusing the growing tensions between nations. The game universe is enriched with the Crystalline Encroachment, an anomaly that progressively petrifies the life and memory of the world, threatening monsters and humans. Accompanied by characters with intertwined destinies — like Eleanor, the determined princess of Vermeil, and her Monstie Anjanath — you will set off to discover varied territories, from the skies to forbidden lands. The gameplay blends familiarity and innovation : the combat system still relies on rock-paper-scissors (Power, Technique, Speed), but is enriched with a "Wyvern" gauge that adds a more strategic dimension. Outside of battles, your Monsties deploy unique skills : fly on the back of a Rathalos to cross chasms, climb walls with a Tobi-Kadachi, swim or surprise the enemy thanks to special attacks. Aesthetically, the adventure is adorned with a splendid cel-shading that enhances contrasting environments — from verdant plains to corrupted crystalline zones. Exploration gains in verticality and freedom, reinforcing the feeling of an open world to traverse in symbiosis with your monsters. Narratively, the story aims to be more mature and emotional than ever. You will be led to forge strong bonds with your Monsties, to make diplomatic decisions, and to face a destiny that far exceeds the simple role of a rider..
