The prototype is the current appearance of the M107 train set belonging to the Nagoya Depot. It reproduces the different appearance from the 1000 series, such as the absence of a whistle on the roof of the driver's cab and the extended skirt at the bottom due to the lack of a snowplow.
The front display is pre-printed with "One-man operation, Local, Kameyama". Replacement front displays for "One-man operation, Local, Shingu" and "One-man operation, Local, Toba" are included.
The smooth, beadless body, exhaust pipes on the end faces, upper headlights, front design without driver's cab-side markings, and matte stainless steel finish are all faithfully reproduced.
