●Story In 2087, the military regime of the unified empire "Giganos," established on the moon, declared war on Earth's nations. Using its superior scientific and organizational power, it brought 70% of Earth's nations under its control, and war continued in space.

With the Earth Alliance forces facing imminent defeat, the space transport ship "Idaho," carrying refugees and classified military supplies, seeks refuge in the neutral space colony "Alucard." Alucard refuses the cruiser entry, but the Giganos forces use force to invade the colony.

Alucard's Astronaut Academy students, Kane Wakaba, and his old friends, Light and Tap, encounter a man shot and killed in the city, carrying a disk containing data on a secret weapon. They then become embroiled in a battle between the Giganos forces and the Idaho. There, the three accidentally enter the cockpit of the secret weapon, the Metal Armor "Dragooner," and register as pilots.
