WTB Vigilante Tough High Grip Tritec E25 Tubeless 27.5´´ X 2.6 MTB Tire

Vigilante Tough High Grip Tritec E25 Tubeless 27.5´´ x 2.6 MTB Tire. The size: 27.5´´ / 2.6. Aggressive, classy and unwavering... These are all words we used to describe the original Vigilante 2.3, and they still hold true for this updated Vigilante, available in modern sizes. The square-lug lugs still provide unwavering grip, but with increased height to ensure they dig even deeper into loose, unpredictable terrain. The increased circumference allows the tread to stay clean in sticky conditions as the powerful outer lugs protect the sidewall as you tackle the roughest rock gardens. TriTec compound: TriTec blends three different rubber compounds to provide varying levels of traction, support and durability depending on their placement in the tread. The high-duty rubber provides the foundation for the entire tread pattern and even extends slightly into the base of each lug, providing additional support underneath the softer compounds used in the rest of each lug. The center lugs feature a medium-duty compound to provide traction and durability without sacrificing rolling efficiency, while the outer lugs feature the softest compound for maximum grip and slow rebound characteristics. TCS Light or TCS Tough: TCS Light tyres have a single-ply carcass, while TCS Tough tyres are dual-ply. Cross-country and trail riders often choose TCS Light tires for their minimal weight, while enduro, gravity and e-bike riders prefer TCS Tough for added durability and cornering support. Some riders choose TCS Light at the front, where the weight is more noticeable, and TCS Tough at the rear, where the beefier tire is beneficial. Most of our TCS Light mountain tires feature Slash Guard technology, which provides a protective nylon insert that spans the entire sidewall to provide additional puncture protection.. without the weight of a two-layer frame. SG2 puncture protection:- TCS Light single-ply mountain tyres are available with SG2 puncture protection. SG2 is a lightweight nylon layer that protects all areas of the tire with an extra level of puncture and crush protection. The bead-to-bead SG2 also improves sidewall stability and overall tire support without the added weight of a rigid (two-layer) frame. - The flat nylon fibers in SG2 reduce the amount of rubber required to fill the spaces between the fibers compared to traditional round fiber backing layers. The increased fiber to rubber ratio improves puncture resistance while reducing weight and improving flexibility compared to our rigid carcasses. Independent laboratory tests have shown that SG2 provides 80% more sidewall protection from bead to bead than traditional single-ply tires without SG2. Peculiarities: Aggressive Tread Pattern:- The square lugs provide unrivaled traction in a wide range of conditions and really excel in loose, rocky terrain. The generous spacing between these lugs allows the tread to clear rough conditions while protecting the carcass from nasty rocks. Closed slot:- Prevents tread bending and increases cornering stability, as well as extends tread life. The closed cleat provides the extra traction you need on rocks or roots without sacrificing durability. Reinforced side rails:- The tall sidewalls are supported by a raised base that prevents the sidewalls from folding under the shamelessly strong cornering forces. The slot placement has also been updated to improve cornering efficiency, while the higher lug heights prevent them from digging in under hard braking. Front-facing design:- Everything about the Vigilante has been designed to improve cornering grip, like the front tire. Aggressive outer lugs bite into corners, while directional siping grips rocks and roots in both wet and dry conditions. We recommend combining the Vigilante 2.5/2.6/2.8 with the Trail Boss 2.4/2.6 at the rear. Compatible with tubeless tires: TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) - is a standardized WTB tubeless system. These tires feature a TCS tubeless casing that virtually eliminates punctures and allows lower tire pressures for improved traction and comfort compared to traditional tube-type tires.
