A durable elastic band suspends the microphone in the center of the shock mount, isolating it from noise, shock, and vibration. It is designed to prevent vibrations and noise from microphone stands or boom poles from reaching the suspension shock mount. A rubber mat is attached between the metal bolt and the microphone to prevent and tighten the microphone. The metal shock mount is designed to be compatible with RODE NT-USB, NT1, NT1-A, NTK, NT2, NT2-A, NT1000, NT2000, NTK Valve 1, Procaster, Broadcaster, and K2 microphone shock mounts.
