It is also a basic raw material required for carnitine synthesis. L-proline can be produced by the body, but optimal amounts may not be produced if the diet is low in protein or primarily vegetarian. The amino acids l-lysine and l-proline are precursors to hydroxylysine (HL) and hydroxyproline (HP), two components of collagen. Collagen is an essential component of blood vessel walls. Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, is also essential for collagen production. Hawthorn berry and grape seed extracts are potent natural antioxidants due to their high levels of proanthocyanidins. Proanthocyanidin esters are excellent free radical scavengers.

Suggested Use: Take 2-4 tablets daily with meals.
