The Type 89 medium tank was developed and adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in the late 1920s.
It was developed and mass-produced as Japan's first domestically produced tank.
Since the engine change, the Type 89 medium tank has been classified based on its engine, with the gasoline-powered A model and the diesel-powered B model.
The Type 95 light tank was developed and adopted by the Empire of Japan in the mid-1930s.
Its codename was "Ha-Go."
It was produced in the highest number of Japanese tanks, with 2,378 units produced. Along with the Type 97 medium tank Chi-Ha, it served in World War II and is known as one of the Japanese military's signature light tanks.
