Product Introduction
IBG "1/72 Japanese Army Type 95 Light Tank Ha-Go, North Manchuria Type" plastic model kit.
The Type 95 was a main battle tank adopted in 1935.
The "Ha-Go" codename was given in chronological order of development, indicating the third tank developed.
When production began, it was praised for its high mobility, but later struggled with weak defenses and a weak gun.
Still, it was deployed on all fronts and performed well as the main force of the Japanese army.
The North Manchuria type was equipped with a small auxiliary road wheel in the center of the road bogie, as its road wheels would get stuck in the ridges of the sorghum fields in northern China, reducing its maneuverability.
As its name suggests, it was widely deployed by the Kwantung Army in Manchuria and used in the Battle of Nomonhan.
It was also sent south toward the end of the war, remaining in use until the end of the war.
The engine details inside the inspection door and the distinctive shape of the road wheel bogie are reproduced.
The hatch can be displayed either open or closed.
Etched parts and decals are included.
