This is an unpainted 1/700 scale plastic assembly kit from PIT-ROAD of the "Skywave Series: Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Destroyer DDH-143 Shirane J74."
The helicopter carrier Shirane was commissioned in 1980 as the largest destroyer at the time.
After undergoing a refit in the 2000s, the ship was replaced in March 2015 by the Izumo, also the newest and largest destroyer.
This kit recreates the ship's post-refit appearance as a full-hull model.
New parts: Full-hull boats, various satellite antennas, and the area around the second funnel (Mack), etc.
