This is a 100% Japanese-made mahjong mat, produced by Miwax in their own factory in Osaka. This rubber mat provides smooth sliding for mahjong tiles and excellent sound dampening.

It measures approximately 690mm x 690mm, a standard mat size.

The green board surface is easy on the eyes and can also be used for card games. Compared to imported mats, it has less of the distinctive rubber smell. If you notice a rubber smell after purchase, please leave it out for 2-3 days. *The white powder is called "talc" (similar to baby powder and harmless), and is used in the manufacturing process to prevent the product from sticking.
