[Hanten Description] "Kurume cotton-filled hanten" has become a regional industry in Kurume, along with the textile production area. It is said that it began in the 1950s when wholesalers in Kurume commissioned weavers to produce them. The secret to its warmth is the cotton filling made by a long-established futon manufacturer, which is a blend of plenty of cotton and is specially made for hanten. It has excellent heat retention and moisture absorption properties, and as soon as you put it on, it instantly absorbs body heat and rises to the highest temperature of the human body.
