Rokuhan Z Gauge EF58 Type 61 Imperial Train Specification Railway Model Electric Locomotive T039-1

This is locomotive No. 61, which was manufactured specifically to pull imperial trains and was known as the "Royal Engine." This model is based on the appearance of the locomotive after it was inherited by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Unlike other EF58 models, it reproduces the special features unique to a locomotive used exclusively for imperial trains, such as the decorative strip running from the front to the side, the nameplate holder for the engineer in charge, and the holes for the stopping position reference plate. In October 2022, a momentous year marking the 150th anniversary of the railway's opening, this electric locomotive began its permanent exhibition at the Railway Museum and is a popular attraction among many railway enthusiasts.
